Built as an operations ecosystem
ExtinctionOS is independently designed and operated for community-run Evrima servers. Its product direction joins server administration, player experiences, owner-defined community pages, a Windows Companion, overlay services, proximity voice, and guarded game-server connections in one ExtinctionOS account.
Product principles
Owner control. Server owners choose the modules, staff access, public pages, and community rules that belong to each server.
Verified actions. A website request is not presented as a completed game action until the compatible connector reports an accepted result.
Recorded outcomes. Sensitive administrative actions use permissions, confirmation, cooldowns, and audit history.
Separated trust. Public pages, browser sessions, website state, connector credentials, and game runtime responsibilities remain separated.
Community continuity. The administration workspace and player-facing community experience share one identity without requiring every optional module.
Architecture
The ExtinctionOS website coordinates account access, server ownership, community configuration, and audited requests. The paired connector makes outbound authenticated requests and keeps game credentials on the server owner’s machine. The ExtinctionOS Companion provides supported desktop overlay and proximity-voice experiences independently of the browser dashboard.
Release milestones
- Foundation: private server profiles, Discord access, player visibility, moderation, configuration, and audit workflows.
- Community: owner-branded player sites, Steam linking, progression, shops, events, and community controls.
- World operations: calibrated Gateway mapping, wildlife controls, environment settings, and connector-verified actions.
- Companion: one ExtinctionOS Windows application for supported overlay and proximity-voice experiences.
- Security baseline: isolated persistent state, restricted downloads, strict browser policy, bounded requests, atomic shared-state writes, and clean release verification.
- Operations workspace: task-centered navigation, an ExtinctionOS-specific visual system, and original capability language while retaining compatibility with existing saved settings.
Independence
ExtinctionOS is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any other server-management platform. Similar server-management functions may exist across the market; ExtinctionOS uses its own branding, product structure, implementation, infrastructure, terminology, and operating model.
